Rob Rossi and Bill Swanson, co-owners of Center of Effort Winery, aim to produce top-notch wines from Edna Valley. And this Pinot Noir is a an fine example of excellent Pinot Noir from this appellation. Winemakers Mike Sinor and Nathan Carlson, both veterans of Edna Valley, display their talents in this outstanding wine. From the south facing slopes of this Estate Vineyard, located just 4.5 miles from the Pacific ocean, this wine is everything you want in a Pinot Noir….color, aroma, taste, mouthfeel, and finish.
Ruby color with dark cherry aromas, a touch of spice, and subtle oak influence and silky mouthfeel, with a nice touch of acidity on the finish, this Pinot Noir is a perfect accompaniment to most foods. We recently enjoyed a bottle with Lombo di Maiale alla Griglia (grilled Niman Ranch Pork Chop) and it was perfect. As you may already know, we love Pinot Noir in its many different styles.
For the entire month of February 2017 we are offering the 2013 Center of Effort Pinot Noir at the reduced price of $60 per 750 ml bottle and $15 per glass. I think you will like this wine as much as we do.
